Nowadays, recruitment is getting more and more difficult and you have to constantly innovate to attract the best talents. It is also due to the fact that companies are sometimes a bit too demanding, but also because there is a shortage of talents, or it is not easy to satisfy them. Even though it is considered as informal, this recruitment trend is very much rooted in its time. The labour market is in constant movement and many trends appear all the time in order for companies to stand out from the competition, especially in times of shortage of talents. These events are completely different from after-works, because you’re in a context of recruitment, but they are popular because it allows both recruiters and job seekers to be in a more friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, you have to be invited to participate to these events. The only thing you have to do is to send your CV. Even if you will not need it during the event, you have to be selected first by a team of professional recruiters, who make sure that your profile will be interesting for the present recruiters. It rises the candidates’ chances to be interested by the recruiters and to find a job. The candidates can also meet other recruiters, which will help them negotiating if they have several opportunities.
These event are generally very successful for both recruiters and job seekers because they are having a real conversation with a candidate in a place totally different from an office. The recruiters can directly figure out the abilities of a candidate, to see if they have the required qualities for a position they offer for example. On their side, the candidates can see if a company is eventually as attractive as they thought.
