Last June, Monster UK released their latest radio campaign entitled ‘Become a Monster: Find Better’. Supported by digital advertising and social media activity, the campaign aimed to inspire people to have the courage and confidence to secure the job that they deserve. In the campaign, three stories of three different characters were featured: the ambitious and career-oriented tech woman, the insecure yet strong-willed digital advertising woman and the passionate apprentice guy.
After the success of this early phase of the campaign, Monster UK recently launched the second part with the addition of brand new 30, 10 and 5 second video animations and digital display creative that bring the radio stories to life.
Here is one of them:
“At Monster we are really passionate about helping people find the jobs they’ve always dreamed of” explained Andy Sumner, Managing Director UK & Ireland of Monster UK. “With this campaign we want to inspire people to get out there and find better – by listening and watching our ‘Become a Monster’ stories. We aim to inspire and encourage candidates to have the confidence to discover and apply for jobs that they’ve always wanted, but perhaps never had the confidence to go for. The radio campaigns we’ve run this year are the biggest we’ve ever embarked on for many years, reinforcing our commitment to building our brand and continuing to help our users find the right job and our customers the right talent”.
Throughout the campaign, the message conveyed is for job seekers to achieve their own dreams and not to do what everyone else is expecting them to do.
What is your standpoint on the radio campaign and video animations?
