Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2006, Willhaben is an Austrian classifieds job board, which also offers other services to its users. It conducts surveys and follows the market trends, and it keeps its users updated through a number of social media pages (there are 115 484 followers on Facebook, 6 443 on Instagram, 1 449 on Twitter and 930 on YouTube). The site belongs to a media group called Styria Media Group AG and Schibsted. The website also has a Twitch account. It is the 7th most visited site in the entire country, attracting an impressive 18.35 million visitors a month.
Design: On the homepage, four different sections are featured, including jobs and careers. Once in the job section, you have a search engine (keywords, location) at the top of the page and a few filters (profession, position, type of hours, state, type of recruiter). You can also start your search by clicking on one of the sectors or location or even a featured job. The search engine can also be used to browse company pages, which appear in alphabetical order (and they display the logo and the number of current positions). In the job listing, publication dates and logos are visible. The featured offers are of a lighter colour. Regardless of the featured position or not, job offers have a standard layout, with a logo at the top of the page and a contact form at the end.
The job board objective: Willhaben (which means “I want to have”) helps people find what they want to have in life, be it stuff, jobs or candidates.
Recruiter observations: Recruiters must provide a postcode to create an account. Otherwise, the process is straightforward. You can access the prices through your account.
Jobseeker observations: It’s easy to create an account (your gender is required).
The job offers: There are currently 14 938 job offers online. The homepage features sales, apprenticeships and IT/telecommunications as the top categories. Production, engineering and transport also have many offers.

Special features: The YouTube videos; different blogs; the app; the testimonials; the market analysis from 2017; the different downloadable documents (including whitepapers and calendars).
Verdict: As far as classifieds job boards go, Willhaben is up there with the best of them. It is user-friendly and professional. It reaches more people than your usual job board, but sometimes, that can be a bad thing if your job offer doesn’t stand out.
