Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: OnlyMarketing Jobs is a specialist job board for marketing professionals in the UK, which has been around for 10 years. It belongs to a group of specialist job boards (OnlyMarketing Jobs, OnlyDigital Jobs, OnlyAgencyside Jobs) and three men in particular are behind the project: Simon Lewis, Grant Bristow and Craig Taylor. The other two sites have the same design but in different colours. It has been quite successful on social media, especially LinkedIn, which has 10 227 followers. There are an additional 20 800 followers on Twitter and 6 003 on Facebook. Clearly, this is an indication of the targeted audiences.

Design: As a Madgex job board, the design is very user-friendly. The search engine (keywords, location and radius) is featured at the eyesight level on the homepage. Below, there are three panels (marketing discipline and location) to choose a category and start your job search. Next to the panels, we have the top marketing jobs. The featured companies really are hiring, which is always good news. In the job listing, the filters (marketing disciplines, location, industry sector, recruiter type, salary brand, agency-side or client-side, contract type, job role, job title and work experience level) appear on the left-hand side (and include the number of job offers for each category). The site distinguishes between searching and browsing. An open job offer has a standard layout, with useful information on the left-hand (which includes expiry dates). There is also a company listing, which displays the logo and number of current job offers, but the pages are just lists of offers.

The job board objective: OnlyMarketing Jobs strives to dominate the Marketing and Digital recruitment industry. Thanks to events and a strong social media presence, the group connects people.

Recruiter observations: Prices are online and recruiters can order through the site almost effortlessly (you do need a phone number though). If you would like something catered to your recruitment needs, you must contact the team.

Jobseeker observations: It’s easy to create an account.

The job offers: There are currently 1 766 job offers online. The most disciplines are Digital/Online Marketing and Marketing.

Verdict: With many filters and a user-friendly design, OnlyMarketing Jobs is a particularly handy job site for anyone looking to hire in Marketing or find work. The large majority of the jobs are in the UK but you can find a couple overseas.
