Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Currently, OCCMundial (which stands for Worldwide Online Career Centre) belongs to Seek (and has since 2015) but it's been around since 1996! The job board giant brand has definitely improved the UX design of the site and helped it maintain an impressive traffic: 10.87 million people visit the site per month on average! In addition to this, there are 24 400 followers on YouTube, 75 300 on Twitter, 2 935 818 on Facebook and 623 717 on LinkedIn.
Design: OCC Mundial has opted for a mostly blue and white colour scheme, with a big search engine (what and where) on the homepage. Some key figures and company logos are also featured on the main page to attract users. When you enter the job listing, the filters (work space, salary, date, category, type of hours) remain at the top of the page. Recruiters can present the information in their job offers however they chose. The design is basic.
The job board objective: OCC is clear and simple: it's a career centre for those looking for work.
Recruiter observations: To create an account, you need an RFC number. You also need to give your number and email as well as the number of employees in the company. You can find the cost of advertising and packages online.
Jobseeker observations: It's really easy to create an account.
The job offers: With over 75 000 job offers, there's something for everyone. The vast majority are in sales, followed by tech jobs.
Reactivity: It's difficult to find contact info (you'll need to go into the terms and conditions). The one we found didn't work.
Special features: The seal of confidence; the blog; the newsletter; the education portal; the university employment network.
Verdict: With Seek backing this one and the large amount of traffic coming through, you're sure to be reaching a large audience. More branding and contact information would be great though.
