Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 1998, NRM jobs is a specialist job board for all of Australia. If you are looking for an environmental job in Australia, then NRM is the way to go. It attracts 78 280 visits a month and keeps its 7 840 followers on Facebook, 1 476 on Twitter (which is a list of job offers) and 431 on Instagram updated on new job offers. There are also 3 969 members in a LinkedIn group. To learn more about the family owned business, you can check out the “About us” section, which contains photos of the team and a brief history of the job board.
Design: From the homepage, you have two options: either you can check out the latest jobs or click on the interactive map of Australia for jobs in your state. When you access the job listing, a search engine (keywords, location and category) will appear. Job offers don’t have logos but they do have closing dates and salary information (when it is provided). Only once an offer is opened can you see the logo above the useful information. On the noticeboard, you can see some advertisements for jobs.
The job board objective: NRM Jobs is all about improving the environment, one job at a time.
Recruiter observations: Recruiters can either contact the team or order online to place an advert. Recruiters must provide a billing address.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers don’t need an account because each offer has “how to apply” information. You can sign up for job alerts.
The job offers: There are currently 122 job offers online. There are 3 international job offers.
Reactivity: You can contact the team through Facebook. They answer quickly and you'll probably be greeted with a friendly "G'day".
Special features: The events; the courses; the professional services; the photos of the team and about us section; job alerts.
Verdict: It’s nice to know that this site is family-owned. The transparency concerning the team is appreciated, the prices are reasonable and the site is clear. If you’re looking for environmental jobs, that’s what you’ll find, without any hassle.
