Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2006, NajdiRabota is a generalist job board in Macedonia, with different language options but most of them don’t work when you change pages. There is no https:// security and the page layout is very oldfashioned. Surprisingly though, the traffic is relatively high: 134 820 visitors a month, most of which are from Macedonia. On social media, the pages are updated for the 196 followers on Twitter and 45 775 on Facebook. The website was created by Artistika.
Design: The page design is outdated. Not only does the content not fill up the page, but the font is very small. There is a search engine (keywords, regions, categories) at the top of the page, as well as a list of categories and regions. You can also view featured jobs (and the company logos) in a grid. Logos scroll across the screen and the rest of the page leads to content relating to jobs and employment. Once in the job listing, the filters are the region, the industry, the position. You can also include a keyword for your search. Popular job offers appear on the left-hand side. If you want to do an advanced search, you have the following options: company, publication date, closing date, position, type of hours, etc. There are no logos but you do have publication dates and expiry dates. In fact, you can see a short description and the required skills before even opening a job offer.
The job board objective: This job board is explicitly designed for the unemployed in the hopes of reducing the unemployment in Macedonia. Najdi Rabota means “find work”.
Recruiter observations: Recruiters can create an account online (a company registration number is requested). However, the page alters the key settings so it’s difficult to enter your e-mail address. Through your account, you can select the type of advert you want.
Jobseeker observations: When jobseekers apply to a job offer, an e-mail address appears.
The job offers: There are currently 419 job offers online. Most of the jobs are in other, production or sales.
Reactivity: --
Special features: The number of active users; the statistics; the recruitment agency (Kardovski) partners; the net/gross calculator; testimonials; the surveys (including the number of voters); the links (to the employment office for instance); the mobile version; the helpful registration videos; company popularity ratings (in the job offers).
Verdict: Don’t judge NajdiRabota by its cover. Despite an old-fashioned design, this website is still relevant and the filters are decent (even if most of the offers are in “other). Recruiters won’t have any trouble creating an account, and jobseekers can send an e-mail and a CV to recruiters directly.
