Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: MyPharma Editions, a specialist job board for those in the pharmaceutical field, is run by David and Cédric Autret. Despite a slightly outdated layout, the French site is easy to use and packed full of the latest news regarding pharmaceutical companies and regulations. On social media, the Facebook page isn’t very popular (only 319 followers) but the group clearly invested time and energy into the Twitter page (4 498 followers), which is worth keeping an eye on. The visibility wasn’t available on SimilarWeb.
Design: On the homepage, only a small section on the right-hand side is reserved for the search engine (keywords, sector and region) and the recent job offers. By using the search engine, you can access the job listing, which includes logos, job titles and the company name for the job offers. To cull the offers, the filters appear as an advanced search (the type of contract, the industry and the location). Next to the job offers, jobseekers can discover the main companies hiring through the site. It’s a shame the site has small print and few images, because it makes for a bad first impression, as if the site weren’t undated. Despite some offers being very old, most of them are relevant to those in the pharmaceutical fields and many agencies recruit through MyPharma Editions. Strangely enough, we found job offers written in English by French companies, even though that’s illegal in France.
The job board objective: MyPharma Editions definitely does its best to provide its readers with current news on the pharmaceutical field.
Recruiter observations: To post job offers or access the CV database, recruiters must contact the website. The different sections explaining the requirements are defined by the recruiter.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekrs don’t need an account since you are either redirected to another page or a contact e-mail address is provided. To publish your CV on the site, there are quite a few fields to fill out, which can be rather tedious.
The job offers: Some of the job offers are years old. At the moment, there are over 3 000 job offers on the site.
Reactivity: --
Special features: The internships (the section is empty at the moment); job alerts; the newsletter.
Verdict: The site claims it has an app, but we couldn’t find it. That aside, the Twitter page is particularly updated and most of the job offers are relevant and recent. MyPharma Editions could use some updates but don’t judge it too quickly.
