Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Hotellerie Restauration is a French specialist job board focused on the hotel, restaurant and tourism sectors. There is no About Us section and little information on the origins of the site but this much is true: it’s a great asset to the industry! From articles and job sheets to interesting job offers and easy-to-use accounts, how could you not use Hotellerie Restauration to recruit? On social media, there are 27 612 followers on Facebook, 3 500 on Twitter, 17 800 on Instagram and 2 755 on YouTube. The team also has a Snapchat account for the younger audience. All of it pays off because the site attracts 575 270 visits a month for the main page (which is not just the employment section). Most of that activity is from France, followed by Beligum and Morocco.
Design: From the employment page, you can either start your search with a location in the search engine (keywords and location) or you can click on a recent job offer (or recent CV for recruiters). In the job listing, most of the job offers don’t have logos and most don’t even have a clear job title but there are publication dates. They are quite simple. They range from relatively long to extremely short. It really depends on the recruiter. Since the title isn’t always clearly indicated, you do have to read through the description carefully.
The job board objective: Hotellerie Restauration makes it easy to find jobs in hotels and restaurants in France and even overseas.
Recruiter observations: There are currently 9 768 CVs on the site (you can see the job titles of the latest ones). You can also see the prices. Cafes, hotels and restaurants can even request relevant CVs (for no extra charge). If you accidently create a jobseeker account, you can turn it into a recruiter one.
Jobseeker observations: It’s very easy to create an account.
The job offers: There are currently 8 040 job offers on the site. There are French and international offers.

Special features: The advice section; the job sheets (which include videos, articles, average salary, career evolution and descriptions); the big recruiters section (articles about recruiters and recruiting companies); job alerts; the videos; the calendar (of events, forums, competitions); SOS experts; the advice when publishing; the weekly info; the news; the magazine; the Twitter feed (on the homepage); the popular hashtags (to find articles).
Verdict: We love Hotellerie Restauration. So many great opportunities just waiting for someone to apply. Recruiting hotels and restaurants have a lot of freedom to advertise as they wish.
