Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: Created in 2005, Lento is a Polish classifieds job board, which attracts an impressive 5.93 million visits a month. With those numbers, it is one of the top classifieds in the country and the interface is easy to use. The group isn’t very popular on social media (only 216 followers on Facebook) but the page is kept updated nonetheless.

Design: The interactive map on the homepage forces you to choose a location before starting your search, or you can choose from one of the categories represented by an icon below (to view only the job listing). You can look at job offers or jobseekers. The filters (keywords, category, location, sector, type of hours, type of contract, salary) appear at the top of the page. You can also filter by student-friendly, no experience and handicap-friendly. Job offers come in all shapes and sizes. You can either apply through the Lento form or contact information is provided. Promoted offers appear above the others.

The job board objective: Lento is free and offers jobseekers and recruiters a place to meet.

Recruiter observations: Recruiters can advertise for free quite easily (and choose additional options for better visibility) but a Polish phone number is required to complete the process.

Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers can create an account with Facebook or an e-mail address. In just a few clicks, you can apply to an offer.

The job offers: There are currently 148 733 job offers on the site. Most of them are in construction and hospitality, but most sectors have thousands of offers.

Verdict: Lento is a good classifieds website for anyone looking for odd-jobs. Like most classifieds, you can spend the day browsing offers and products without noticing the time go by.
