Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: JobTiger is a Bulgarian generalist job board created in 2000.Currently, SimilarWeb is unable to measure the visits at this time. There other websites aren’t https:// protected either, but they are interesting. On JobTiger.net, you can access them all, including a recruitment agency site (with a clever backdrop of a man changing professions). The site is available in English, but the job offers aren’t translated. On social media, JobTiger has 1 268 followers on Twitter, 44 834 on Facebook and 12 877 on Linkedin. There are hundreds of videos to watch if you are interested in learning more about recruitment in Bulgaria.
Design: The homepage is the job listing, which can appear in a list of grid. Other than the search engine (keywords and the location), there are no filters on the homepage. To access them, you have to choose a location (then you have the level of experience, the work time, the salary and the industry). The company pages also appear in a grid and you can run your mouse over them to see the number of current job offers. If you aren’t satisfied with the “About us” section, JobTiger even has its own page. However, the job offers don’t actually appear on the company page. The company pages just have an image, a description and sometimes another kind of media (a video for example). There is also a large backdrop. The location, the company, the job title, the logo and the publication date appear in the job listing.
The job board objective: The company’s values are particularly humane (see the “About us” section). Their mission is to offer the best services to recruiters and jobseekers.
Recruiter observations: You can create an account with Facebook or OpenID. You need to include your ID number (but that just means putting 9 digits into the ID field). Foreign companies also need to send a scanned copy of the company registration. Recruiters can also make a cover letter, driver’s licence and/or personal vehicle available for work compulsory for applicants. You can post for free without any visuals. You can also browse the applicants for a trial period (without photos or names).
Jobseeker observations: You can create an account with Facebook or OpenID. You can apply to job offers with or without an account.
The job offers: There are 749 job offers, which is less than half of what there was last year. Some offers are in English, others in Bulgarian. Most of the jobs are in Sofia.
Reactivity: It took the team less than a day to answer. They are really helpful and friendly.
Special features: The calendar; the career advice; cover letter templates; the Youtube videos (also available on the website); the CV builder; free CV browsing; the partner websites.
Verdict: There were many positive sides to JobTiger, including the cover letter templates, the team and the free posting. We would recommend it for companies with a low budget! With low visibility at the moment, we can't confirm the popularity of the site.
