Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Founded in 2007, JobSource focuses on the media, communications, marketing and sales sectors in Switzerland. According to the “About Us” section, the site reaches more passive jobseekers thanks to their partnership with Horizont, a marketing platform, but I couldn’t find the site online. On social media, there are 5 148 followers on Twitter (no new content since 2018) and 4 065 on Facebook. The site attracts about 4 100 visits a month.
Design: JobSource gets straight to the point: the first and only thing you see on the homepage is the search engine (keywords and location). The only other thing on the homepage is a short presentation of some of the services. In the job listing, the offers cover the entire screen. They include logos and keywords in the listing, but no publication dates. There are no filters but you can sort the offers by relevance, job title, company name, date. The branding is limited for the open job offers: the logo remains but the layout is standardised.
The job board objective: JobSource aims to help jobseekers and recruiters in Switzerland find each other.
Recruiter observations: To register, you must provide a location and phone number.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers cannot create an account and do not need one to use the site.
The job offers: The offers appear in a continual scroll so it is not possible to count the number of job offers.
Reactivity: The team answers within a day.
Special features: The key figures; the newsletter; the partners and clients page.
Verdict: A simple job board, which is easy to use whether you’re a jobseeker or a recruiter. More special features and company pages would be appreciated.
