Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Jobs in Finance is a Dutch specialist job board, which has been around since 1995, but only recently became a Madgex job board a few years ago. The design is just what you would expect from the group: clear and simple to navigate. On social media, the group has 6 694 followers on Facebook, 697 on Twitter and 1 282 members on a LinkedIn group. The traffic is a bit lower than it used to be at around 8 250 visits per month.
Design: As a Madgex job board, the design is fairly simple. The search engine (keyword) appears just belong the visible part of the homepage, which is a shame. Instead, you see the name of the job board and business people in a waiting room. Thanks to three panels, you can see job functions, sectors and regions. The featured companies aren’t necessarily hiring but you can see featured jobs on the homepage. In the job listing, the filters (the function, region, sector, industry, salary, type of hours, level of education, experience and contract type) appear on the left-hand side (and include the number of job offers for each category). Job offers appear in boxes (some of which are light blue and others are white) and they include the expiry date and a logo (if one is provided).An open job offer has a standard layout, with useful information on the left-hand (which includes expiry dates). There is also a company listing, which displays the logo and number of current job offers, but the pages are just lists of offers.
The job board objective: Jobs in Finance makes it easy for financial professionals in the Netherlands to find work.
Recruiter observations: It’s easy to create an account and you can find the prices online too. For a campaign tailored to your specific needs, you must contact the team.
Jobseeker observations: To register, all you need in a name and e-mail address. Then, you can apply to offers.
The job offers: There are currently 87 job offers, most of which are for Financial Agents, Controllers and Accounting Assistants.
Reactivity: --
Special features: The Twitter feed; events (which is empty); job alerts; the blog (nothing new since February);
Verdict: As a Madgex job board, you can rest assured that it has a user-friendly design. For both jobseekers and recruiters, it’s easy to set up an account and continue your search for jobs or candidates.
