Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2014, JobInfo does a good job of attracting users to its generalist job board, even though the design is quite unusual. 512 340 views a recorded on SimilarWeb each week. The success surely comes from the clear design and large images (which aren’t as prominent in the Eastern European countries as they are in the West or in the US). The job board hardly has any social media (13 followers on LinkedIn, 3 131 on Facebook and no Twitter page) but it manages to reach people all the same.
Design: The site is comprised of large block colours, including pink and yellow for the logo and colder colours for the featured categories (hospitality, communication and student jobs). Instead of appearing at the top or bottom of the page, the different page links appear on the side. The job offers can also be accessed through the suggested lists: categories, locations, linguistic skills. Twelve offers are featured on the homepage in squares. If you would like to look for something more specific (next to the magnifying glass), you can type in a location and a keyword. The job offers can be sorted by relevance, by the freshness or by how often they are consulted. You can also choose to see jobs you’ve seen before or only ones you haven’t seen yet. The offers are large and colourful in the listing, including publication dates and logos on occasion. The filters are the category, the subcategory, the country, the linguistic skills, the type of work, the education and the type of hours.
The job board objective: JobInfo has made looking for work easy and posting offers is just as simple.
Recruiter observations: In the recruiter part of the website, you can find some key figures about the job board, including the number of jobseekers on the site. It takes next to no time to create an account and to order an advert.
Jobseeker observations: It’s easy to create an account and apply to job offers. For some offers, you’re directed to another page, and most have contact information.
The job offers: There are 21 337 offers on the job board. All of the categories have job offers but the featured ones have the most (especially hospitality).
Reactivity: The team answers within less than a day and they are quite helpful.
Special features: Chat support (during their working hours); the data management PDF; the GDPR information; the key figures; the multiplying job offer cost tool.
Verdict: JobInfo is a friendly job board, with a lot to offer. The design is slightly different to most of the other job boards we’ve since in Hungary, but that just makes it stand out from the rest.
