Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2011, JobCulture is a specialist job board focused on cultural jobs. On the website, however, the foundation date is listed as 2001. The group offers unlimited free posting, which is why there are so many job offers on the site. That’s probably also why there are 74 090 visits recorded on the site every month, most of which come from France. As for the social media, there are 4 501 followers on LinkedIn, 12 100 on Twitter and 17 980 on Facebook (nothing new since February). Unfortunately, there is no https:// security on the site.
Design: The homepage has mostly light colours and job offers all around the screen. Aesthetically, it isn’t the most attractive site but it isn’t difficult to use. Most of the homepage is taken up by job offers. The search engine (keywords, location, radius) is at eye level but the colours are quite pale, which does make it hard to distinguish. Even if there aren’t any filters, you can refine the search by clicking on one of the different employment sectors at the top of the page or on an activity. In the listing, you can see the job title, the location, the type of contract, a small image and a publication date.
The job board objective: JobCulture hopes to make it easier for everyone.
Recruiter observations: Recruiters can post internships and job offers for free. It’s easy to create an account an post an offer.
Jobseeker observations: For jobseekers, it’s easy to create an account.
The job offers: There are over 37 300 job offers on the site, not including the offers from partner websites, but the oldest ones are from 2016.

Special features: The list of partners; the Newsletter; the PDF pricing presentation (in French); the job sheets (which includes the salary and courses); contract information; the CV database (which is free to access, including photos and full CVs); the cultural calendar (which includes upcoming events); the courses.
Verdict: It’s always a shame when we see job boards without https:// security because they do deal in sensitive information. That said, this site does have a lot to offer both recruiters and jobseekers. Not only can recruiters see the candidate database, but they can post for free. They can even post events, to attract both candidates and interested spectators. Improved UX writing and design could definitely boost the attractiveness of this site.
