Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2004 by David Gonzalez Castro under the name of InfoEgrego, InfoJobs is a popular generalist job board in Brazil. Since 2007, it has been known as InfoJobs and today, 76% of the site belongs to Schibsted. It is the 11th most visited job site in the world, and the second most visited in Brazil. The actual traffic numbers are 22 490 000 visits (practically all of them come from Brazil) per month and an average of 7 to 8 pages per visitor. On social media, InfoJobs doesn’t spread out to all the platforms, just the most relevant for its service and content: Facebook (449 629 followers) and Twitter (26 700).
Design: The homepage has a classic and appealing design, with a search engine (keywords and location) appearing at the top of the page over an image. The image is the banner for a company, so you can also see the score for it. Underneath, other logos and scores are featured. Recent jobs and some services fill up the rest of the page. In the job listing, the filters (state, city, sector, specialty, position, type of contract, publication date, salary range, type of work) appear on the left-hand side and they display the number of job offers for each category. You can also browse the company pages (which appear in a grid, with the name, logo and a score). In the grid, you can also see if the company has reviews or salary information.
Company pages include star scores, reviews, a company description, the number of employees, current job offers and the option to follow the company.
The job board objective: InfoJobs is a meeting place for companies and talented professionals.
Recruiter observations: You can post for free but a CNPJ number is required, as well as a phone number.
Jobseeker observations: To create an account, jobseekers need to include a postcode. The next step is to create a CV online (which is compulsory). You need an account to apply to jobs.
The job offers: There are currently 3 940 job offers online. The categories with the most job offers are Sales (with over a thousand offers) and IT & telecommunications (with half that).
Reactivity: --
Special features: The app; the blog; the courses (some of which are free); following companies.
Verdict: InfoJobs is great for anyone in Brazil. However, international jobseekers and recruiters won’t be able to set up accounts.
