Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Dagens Media Jobb is a newspaper and online media site that also offers job board services created in 1998. The site has more than enough to offer in the way of information on the marketing and media industry, but there aren’t that many job offers at the moment. The site was actually acquired by Bonnier less than a year ago, but it previously belonged to AlmaTalent. On social media, many people follow the articles and updates: 25 952 followers on Facebook, 11 000 on Twitter, 2 376 on LinkedIn and another 2 503 on Instagram. As for the traffic, about 50% of the 263 260 visits a month come from Sweden. The other top visitors include the US, Brazil and Spain.
Design: Since jobs are not the focus on this site, you cannot view them from the homepage. You have to click on “jobb” at the top of the page. From there, the “About us” section appears next to the job offers. This leaves little room for the job offers themselves but there are only a few of them on the left-hand side of the screen so they don’t need too much space. The logos a clear, and the publication dates are visible. When opened, the offers are standard and the contact information appears at the end, so you don’t need an account. On the left-hand side, you can see the application deadline. There are no filters but you don’t need any.
The job board objective: Dagens Media has created a one-stop site for all your media news and job offers.
Recruiter observations: To recruit through the site, you must contact the team. Luckily, they answer very quickly!
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers don’t need to create an account to apply to job offers.
The job offers: There are currently 10 job offers on the site.
Reactivity: The team answers very quickly.
Special features: The blog (in different sections depending on the author), the events; the courses; marketing news and other news.
Verdict: Even if there aren’t many job offers on Dagens Media, the few, which are online, all relate to media and marketing. If you are looking for a new career, then you’ll have to act fast. As for recruiters, the few job offers make it easy to stand out and attract more candidates.
