Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: CareerJet is an aggregator, present in many countries around the world. This means that you can usually find a portal in your language (and either use it for your search or to understand one in a language you don’t speak). It has been around for a little under 20 years, which might be why CareerJet doesn’t publish content or update its social media often. There are 453 followers on Twitter and 5 348 on Facebook but neither page has been updated since 2015. There are also 8 845 followers on LinkedIn. According to SimilarWeb, as many as 277 710 people visit the site every month.
Design: CareerJet is rather minimalistic like many aggregators, and it has a slightly outdated feel to it too. The font size is small and the content does not fill up the entire screen. On the homepage, CareerJet displays a search engine (keywords and the location) and some search ideas. Once you can see the jobs, you have a choice of three different listings: all, only the new offers or the easily apply offers. The only filters are the location and contract type but you can also choose how to sort the offers (relevance, date or salary) and you can select the industry from the homepage. The publication date and salary (when disclosed) appear in the listing.
The job board objective: CareerJet has made it easier to find job offers on the internet, wherever you are.
Recruiter observations: The price for a job posting can be found online, as well as the price for CV database access and automatic daily updating. It’s easy to order an advert online (which you can preview before purchasing) and the salary is not a required field.
Jobseeker observations: If there is an easy application option for the job offer or if it is a new offer, the information is visible in the listing.
The job offers: According to the website, there are 2 660 223 job offers.
Reactivity: The team answers within 24 hours and they are helpful.
Special features: The app; the “apply easy” button on job offers; job alerts; following companies.
Verdict: CareerJet is like many other aggregators, which enables you to view all the relevant job offers online in one convenient location. Recruiters don’t pay much to post but you are charged per click. Depending on the job position, you won’t be able to find your ideal candidate through an aggregator.
