Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Cadreo belongs to the ever expanding HelloWork group (which used to go by the name of RegionsJob). Released in 2014, Cadreo now has 26 777 Facebook followers, 13 100 on Twitter and a mere 845 on Linkedin. Since it started, the number of job offers hasn’t stopped growing! The great thing about Cadreo is that it is a part of a stable and recognized brand, but it targets a very specific audience. Indeed, the specialist job board will only accept certain kinds of jobseekers and job opportunities. 593 730 visits are recorded every month (are there that many executives looking for work in France?), so let’s see why.
Design: The main colour of the website is a crimson red. The homepage is made up of their special features. Of course, you have the search engine in two parts (job title and location) above the rest of the information. Then, three boxes introduce the different listed offers, nominations and recruitment agencies. They have a graph of the average salaries for executive positions in France, some recruiting companies (444 in total) and even the number of articles they have. If you need a breakdown of the different locations, jobs or sectors hiring, you can find that at the bottom of the page. Once in the job listing, the filters (the sector, the salary, the type of contract) are on the left-hand side (they include the number of job offers per category). It’s a bit of a shame that the “company pages” are just lists of job offers.
The job board objective: Cadreo is exclusively for high profile positions and high profile candidates. It’s all about excellence (and impressive salaries).
Recruiter observations: When you access the recruiter section, you are redirected to HelloWork. The chat support is only for recruiters. It seems a shame to have gone to the trouble of making it seem like a person is answering (the photo, the somewhat witty answers) since the responses appear instantaneously (so you know it’s a robot). The robot asks for information about your recruiting needs, takes your number, and promises the team will call you back within two hours. You can’t just create an account.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers on Cadreo are only allowed to apply for executive jobs. That means that a job title from their list is compulsory and that two years of study after your end of high school exam is also required. Otherwise, it's relatively easy to create an account and to apply to jobs.
The job offers: There are 7 783 job offers in France. Only executive jobs (with an annual salary above 45 000 euros) are available on this particular job board. Most of the job offers were posted over the last month, but the last page still displays some 6 month old job offers! All of their categories have about 300-600 job offers (Business services, environment and energy, distribution, business consulting and construction have the most offers).
Reactivity: They have a chat support with automatic answers. You basically need to speak to them on the phone for any real information though.
Special features: job alerts; the salary comparator (by region and by sector); the blog (with a variety of topic categories); the nominations section; the recruitment agency section (with all the job offers).
Verdict: Considering the job board clearly insists on the salary, it’s surprising to see that an overwhelming number of job offers don’t provide any salary information. Cadreo targets a particular kind of jobseeker: French executives. If that’s you, then by all means, Cadreo is waiting for your CV!
