Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Among us since 1990, Cadremploi (which means “executive job”) has been a popular favourite for a long time in France. Today, it has 39 600 followers on Twitter and 119 311 on Facebook, not to mention the 2.20 million hits per month the website receives (mostly from France (74%), followed by the Congo oddly enough (7%)). There are millions of CVs on Cadremploi and their partner websites (Keljob and CadresOnine) just waiting to be discovered!
Design: A large image is featured behind the search engine in two parts (keywords, location – including a salary, industry and job role filter just underneath). The rest of the homepage provides access to the various content available on Cadremploi (featured job offers, a handful of featured companies, articles and the new TV campaign). The website is more than willing to give you a helping hand by suggesting positions and locations if you still aren’t sure what to look for. Once in the job listing, the filters are the role, the location, the sector and the company. Once in the job listing, the job offers are large rectangular boxes with a big logo, a rating (most of the time), the type of contract, the location, the publication date, short description and the job title in large letters. Each offer follows the same structure: What are the tasks? What is the ideal candidate? Why you should apply or who posted this advert? Other information that might be useful for recruiters can be found in the “About Us” section.
The job board objective: This particular job board focuses on executive jobs within France.
Recruiter observations: According to their website, as many as 15 000 recruiters use their database to look for new hires. When creating your job offer, you must include the salary and you can pay extra for certain add-ons (additional locations, redirection to your company website, for example). If you choose to access the CV database, you actually gain access to three different ones on Cadremploi, Keljob and CadresOnline. Either way, you will need a SIRET number to complete the process.
Jobseeker observations: It’s easy to create an account but then you need to fill in a lot of repetitive information. If you apply to a job offer, you receive automatic e-mail to keep you updated on the application process and a list of “others also applied to these jobs” offers also appear. Furthermore, recruiters using CV Aden can contact you if they come across your CV.
The job offers: 13 555 job offers on Cadremploi. “Cadre” means executive, so you’ll mostly find executive positions. There are also some internships, fresher positions and even freelance jobs. Industry and services are by far the sectors with the most job offers.

Special features: The “live my job” (#vismonjob) videos; the Youtube videos; the previous/next buttons; the job and company ratings; job alerts; the blog (separated into different sections).
Verdict: Cadremploi has a particularly professional, yet simple, feel to it. Whether you’re a recruiter or a jobseeker, they definitely take the hard work out of looking for work or looking for hires.
