Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2001, AutoPro reports on all the automobile news in Hungary and the rest of the world. The Hungarian newspaper website receives up to 331 140 views a month, mostly from Hungary, but also from some other European countries. That doesn’t mean that the users visit the specialist job board section though, which is only a fraction of what AutoPro has to offer. Not big on social media, it has 14 275 Facebook followers and some Youtube videos. The website is available in English and in Hungary, but not the job board. There is no specific information about the newspaper, but it does conduct studies on the automobile industry, which are published on their website and on the SAP Hungary website.
Design: As a specialist job board on a newspaper website, accessing the job offers takes a few extra steps. The job offer panel is the before last one. From there, it’s just about the job offers. There is a search engine (the company, the category and the location) and a list of offers. On the left-hand side, logos of big companies are featured, leading to company pages. The logo is visible in the listing and the job offers can include large images and even videos. There are no filters, but since there are few job offers, that is not a problem.
The job board objective: AutoPro makes it easy for those in the automobile industry to find relevant job offers in one place.
Recruiter observations: It’s easy to create an account and to order your adverts through the website.
Jobseeker observations: As a jobseeker, you don’t necessarily need an account. Most offers include contact information and you are supposed to write directly to the company if that is the case.
The job offers: There are currently 37 job offers on the website (even though there were as many as 2 070 just two years ago). Since there are no dates on the job offers, it’s difficult to know how updated they are.
Reactivity: --
Special features: Job alerts; the news on automobiles; the events calendar; the 2018 media offer (with information on costs and the audience).
Verdict: From the looks of things, AutoPro continues to be a popular website in Hungary in the world of automobiles. However, the job board doesn’t seem to register on the radar, since there are very few job offers, and missing information.
