Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 1954, the Apecita association is now a French job site specialised in farming and environmental jobs. The team is active on social media for the 2 559 followers on Twitter, 3 495 on Facebook, 24 on YouTube and 3 319 on LinkedIn. It attracts as many as 124 140 visits a month, most of which are relatively long. The “About us” section not only includes information on the history of the company, but also information on the funding, the values of the company and even photos of the team. Two other sites are also listed as partner sites.
Design: The homepage and general colour scheme are blue and yellow. There is an image of a field and a man working as a backdrop to the search engine (keywords and location). A small number of offers are featured on the homepage and the rest of the space is taken up by the calendar, the articles and testimonials. There is also an additional search engine for keywords on the site. Once in the job listing, you can use the filters (sector, type of contract, location, experience, pay, training) to refine your search. If there is a logo, you can see it in the listing. The type of contract, publication date, company name and job title are also visible in the listing. Job offers appear in different colours in the listing but we’re not quite sure why. Useful information is featured at the top of the offer, a map is on the right-hand side just under how to apply and the rest of the space is taken up by the job description.
The job board objective: Apecita aims to attract relevant professionals for the farming industry.
Recruiter observations: Prices are online and you can even post for free for 10 days. You can also post internships for free. When creating an account, the site asks for a SIRET, NAF number and a tax number but none of them are required.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers are asked to indicate if they are recognised as disabled when creating an account.
The job offers: currently, there are 687 job offers on the site. Most of them offer less than 30K a year. Most of the offers are in agricultural equipment or agricultural development organisms.

Special features: The newsletter; the YouTube videos; guide; the blog; job alerts; the photos of the team; the branches (which include statistics, current job offers, job sheets and more); the fairs/events; the meetings (in the calendar); the downloadable “Green Tribune”; testimonials; publications on training.
Verdict: Apecita definitely gets a thumb’s up for transparency with so many photos and contact details. Furthermore, the design is aesthetically appealing and the information on the different branches is quite detailed. It is a pleasure to use this site!
