Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: Created in 2007, Amaljob was second on the scene after ReKrute but it is still a growing job board with a focus on finding new talent. It strives to be present on social media, such as Facebook (with 113 000 followers) and even Whatsapp, but the website also aims to maintain a professional image. No pop-ups, very structured job offers, news on the recruitment industry, clear information about regulations and confidentiality, etc. Amaljob takes recruiting very seriously. They are ranked 1 966th in Morocco on the most visited websites list, which is far behind ReKrute.com for example who are 173rd.

Design: In a word: professional. Easy to use, a reasonable number of job offers with all the important information above the advert and clearly marked sections to help find what you’re looking for.

The job board objective: Finding the best talent for the best professions.

Recruiter observations: Since there are fewer than 197 job offers on AmalJOB right now, your advert is more likely to be seen. Furthermore, the job board also features the job offers on Facebook to boost their visibility. Also, it’s a bit tricky to find the right link to the recruiter section (you need to click on the “inscriptions” button, and not the “espace recruteur” one).

Jobseeker observations: When you check out a job offer, AmalJOB includes similar offers on their website so you can apply to all the relevant posts without even looking for them.

The job offers: Engineers, accountants, sales directors, project managers, consultants, team leaders, etc. AmalJOB has opportunities for a diverse audience.

Reactivity: ---

Special features: The large CV database; the “job offer alert” button which will automatically send you an email if a CV that matches your needs pops up; the blog; the “company of the week” section.

Verdict: The website has potential. Keep an eye on the CVs and the blog posts, but don’t rely solely on AmalJOB.
