Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: Created in 2007, Agri Holland is a job board for professionals in the agricultural field in Holland. On social media, it has a decent following of 1 154 people on LinkedIn, 3 713 on Twitter (list of job offers) and 367 on Facebook. There is little to no information about where the company came from or how it started online. According to SimilarWeb, the site attracts 175 370 visitors a month and  those numbers are rising.

Design: At a glance, Agri Holland doesn’t actually look like a job board. There is no job search engine (just a small one for keywords at the top of the page for any information on the website). Furthermore, there are three lists of information (news, knowledge and jobs). The last one is for jobs and leads to the job listing. The filters are keywords, education (VMBO, MBO, HBO, WO), sector, function and region, which appear on the right-hand side. The job offers are broken down by date, so the ones posted on the same day all appear under the same date. The job title, location, company and required education are visible (but there are no logos). When you open a job offer, the branding is actually quite good and the layout is appealing. Images, useful information and a map are all on the right-hand side.

The job board objective: Agri Holland enables recruiters and jobseekers in the food and agriculture sector to find one another and to stay up-to-date on all the important news in the industry.

Recruiter observations: Prices are online but for a quote, you must contact the team. You can also had a logo for Agri Holland to your career page or website.

Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers are redirected to the career page of the company to apply to job offers.

The job offers: There are currently 172 jobs online. Most of them are in food.

Special features: the weather; the news section (with different pages for different sectors); job alerts; the prices in agriculture; subsidy program news; the links to Google translate; the newsletter; chat support (on the AHAM Leermiddelen Bouwers page).

Verdict: Agri Holland is an interesting website for both recruiters and jobseekers. If you need to check the latest news, find the latest agricultural prices or view the latest jobs, then you’ve come to the right place.
